Bard in the Quad is presenting Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," adapted and directed by Scott Palmer. The play opens tonight, July 16 at 8 p.m. and will continue showing at 8 p.

His finals over, Todd Doxey returned home to San Diego in mid-June. Trying to compete for playing time in one of the nation's best defensive secondaries wasn't going to be easy, and he knew it.
He came back to his hometown early in the summer, knowing off-season workouts and classes in Eugene might keep him in Eugene until Oregon's first bye week.
But with hard work came excitement. He was going to arrange a trip to Eugene for four of his closest friends from San Diego, Ronnie Childs, Bryan Russell, JayDee Luster and Corey Tisby, to watch him play in the fall at Autzen Stadium.

In 1999, Barry Brown moved into the same low-income housing neighborhood as Caterina Rosenfeld, a 2008 graduate of OSU who majored in fine arts. Brown had a 21-year criminal history including such crimes as stalking and assault.
After Brown, six other criminals moved in to fill up the remaining units.

Graduate students still living at a former University housing complex have been given a 30-day notice to vacate after the rent mitigation period between the residents and the facility's current property manager expired last month. Bell Real Estate distributed the "Notice of Termination of Tenancy Without Cause" to remaining graduate students at Westmoreland Village LLC on July 1, one day after the University's period of rent mitigation ended.

Todd Doxey, a redshirt freshman rover from San Diego, died Sunday afternoon after drowning in the McKenzie River.
Doxey reportedly jumped from the Marcola Road Bridge near Springfield after 3 p.m. but struggled to swim across the current. After being picked up by a fisherman from the water, he was given CPR on the shore.
