People looking to buy a contract will need to pass a credit evaluation and pay any necessary deposits, but many contracts include a free phone.

OPTION 2: Get your cell phone company to terminate you. Most phone companies have a stipulation written in the service contract that says if more than 51 percent of your calls are done in roaming for three straight months your contract will be terminated. To accomplish this, find an area where your phone is in roaming and use slightly more than half of the minutes you use during non-roaming conversation. OPTION 4: Sometimes complaining works as well. If service is not satisfactory, companies will sometimes let people off the hook.
