Prior to Thursday night's Bob Dylan show, a miffed local stage hands union picketed outside of the show's venue, McArthur Court. Dylan's promotional company had hired outside work and payed them less, according to local IATSE union president David Paul Black. After meeting with concert administrators, however, agreed to hire the union workers and pay the show's non-union workers union rates.

I was one of the non-union workers, and I was told by 675 ( IA) that I would get union scale. I was told by Rhino NW , I would not. I did not get union wages. The union calls this a win for everyone, while the the promoter (AEG) still shafts the under paid. To me its just lip service, I'd like to see the union sue AEG for breach of contract on behalf of non-union workers under union contracts. I.A.T.S.E. 675 thanks for trying but in America you can't beat a giant corporation like AEG even in Eugene.
