Anonymous - There's a reason their on the cover of Game Day and your not - Who's the real fan here? These guys embody what a college fan should be. I sure wish I was living the life they are. Go Ducks - bust those Trojans all night long.

I agree 100% with Stefanie, I think that YOU need to get your facts straight. I have known these people for 3 years and they are some of the nicest STUDENTS I personally know. I am very proud of the student section as a whole: it is fun, energetic and a great support to the team/Autzen.

Anonymous-who in the hell are you? Are you serious? These boys are the most dedicated fans at the UO, not only going to home games but traveling to support the team at almost all games. You are obviously a student since you believe that they "treat their peers with disrespect" so I would like to know an instance when you have been "disrespected" by these guys. Granted, if you try to take their spots in the front of section 8 they will let you know you need to move. They always get there 4-5 hours before the game starts and just because you may be able to run faster after you show up 15 minutes before they let us in does not mean you earned the front row. If you are embarrassed of these guys maybe you should go to OSU since you obviously are not a true Duck fan.

This is absurd. These aren't even all students! At least one of these individuals is graduated. YOU GOT YOUR FACTS WRONG! Apparently the Emerald supports non-students in the student section, as other fans who actually pay the incidental fee, aren’t getting to experience what it’s like in the front of section 8. And collectively their behavior is OFTEN at games less than something I'm proud of. These students often treat their peers with disrespect. Not only am I embarrassed on occasion that they represent my school, now I'm embarrassed the newspaper at my school can't even give quality reporting.
